Free Agent Signings
Dodgers Add 2 Players on a Pair of 3-Year Deals
Last offseason, the Dodgers signed OF Teoscar Hernandez to a one-year deal. This deal proved to be a great one with Teoscar playing a big part in their 2024 World Series Championship. Now, the Dodgers have brought back Hernandez— this time on a 3-year, $66 million deal with a club option for the 2028 season. Shortly later that day, the Dodgers signed one of the top international free agents right now in 2B Hyeseong Kim. Like Hernandez, Kim signed a 3-year deal, this one worth $12.5 million with an option for the 2028 & 2029 seasons.

Orioles Add Veteran Pitcher
With ex-Orioles ace Corbin Burnes departing in free agency last week, the Orioles recently signed veteran RHP Charlie Morton to a one-year, $15 million deal. Morton, 41 is towards the end of his career and will provide a veteran presence to a young Baltimore team looking to make the playoffs for a third straight year. Morton will join Grayson Rodriguez & Zach Eflin as the guaranteed members of the rotation in Birdland.
Nationals Reunite With First Baseman
Just a few weeks after acquiring a World Series champion first baseman in Nathaniel Lowe, the Nationals reunited with veteran 1B/DH Josh Bell. Bell signed a 1-year, $6 million deal with his former team, which will have him play in The District for his 10th season in the big leagues.
