This month, Sasaki, the top prospect in baseball will don the dodger blues for the first time, looking to become one of the top pitchers in the league.

MLB Releases Spring Training Hats For 2025
Less than a week after Major League Baseball and New Era released the 2025 Batting Practice hats for all 30 teams, the 2025 Spring Training Hats have been unveiled. These hats, which all 30 teams will wear during this year’s spring training, are all very vibrant, with bright colors and unique designs.
ABS System Testing
Major League Baseball has been testing the Automatic Ball-Strike System in the Minor Leagues for a little bit now, in an effort to increase the accuracy of umpires. This Spring Training, the ABS system will be used for the first time with big league clubs— being used in around 70% of the Spring Training games this year.
The ABS system is simple, umpires call every pitch as usual, based on their view of the pitch as a ball or a strike. Here is where the ABS comes into play. If at any point in the game the batter, catcher, or pitcher disagrees with a call, they can signal a challenge to the umpire. The umpires will then look at the computer system that is always running, and if the ball hits any part of the strike zone, the pitch is a strike. For Spring Training, each team will start the game with 2 challenges, and if they have a successful challenge, they will get to keep their challenge. On the other hand, if the call stands, they will lose their challenge.
The best time of year is when Spring Training starts. Baseball is back!
